The Carbon Footprint

The Carbon footprint is one of the biggest causes of pollution for the environment and for the earth in general, it refers to the amount of gases produced by humans when manufacturing a product or consuming services in a daily activity, it achieves a greenhouse effect, which leads us to have a great impact on nature as well as global warming, this is measurable in large amounts of carbon dioxide (CO2) emitted.

On the other hand, how does carbon affect the environment? Coal is a fuel that contains high levels of carbon dioxide (CO2), which when burned increases global warming resulting in climate change. It also causes local damage by causing air pollution which will lead to diseases that are harmful to health.

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), this pollution caused by solid fuels such as coal causes 5% of deaths and diseases in 21 countries worldwide. The most mindful solution as a plan to save the world is planting trees in many parts of the Earth, as they act as a filter, absorbing and reducing CO2 emissions. Similarly, technology provides great help by capturing carbon dioxide air residues. By minimizing the use of fuels, we can stop pollution and global warming.

So neutralise your carbon footprint, recycle, and help the environment. Likewise, if you want to help the environment, eat fresh food close to you, walk, use a bicycle instead of a car, harness the sun’s energy, switch to LED lighting, plant a tree, make plans and habits to reduce economy such as reusing things and minimising water use. Being environmentally responsible will ensure a better future for the environment and for planet earth.
